Snippet Viewer
The main concept and idea of this Snippet Viewer goes back into the mid-2000s where it was originally a web-based PHP web application using XML. This is the most recent iteration, which is a desktop application.

While this program is fairly simple, it does have some interesting features which can make it useful for storing various code snippets you might need to refer to and copy and paste. It also has features which enable the use of writing down research notes, as seen in this screenshot with NixOS. If the exact text of dt is placed on a line alone, and then the user hits enter, it will automatically swap that text with the current date and time, which is how those timestamps you see in the screenshot were generated.
Interesting Features of Note
- Notes are stored in a special memory card format.
- Notes can be fully encrypted using a password.
- Two font sizes to choose from, small and large.
- Support for syncing to a networked memory card server was planned and in development.
- Easily add the current timestamp to any note.
